Shana and I got to go experience the many festivities this weekend! To start our day we went over to the Caruso club where the Italian festival was taking place to enjoy all the food and performances. VIVA ITALIA!!! :) They are known for their amazing porketta sandwiches, sausages and pasta! You don't even notice the wait because
W
e finished our day at the Northern lights Festival Boreal which was located at Laurentian University. This is by far my favorite festival, there is just so much interaction, intrinsic artwork and accessories, as well as a variety of musical talents. People were friendly and enthusiastic about sharing their passion with one an other, what an amazing atmosphere to be surrounded in. There was so much for the kids to be involved with from face painting, to musical performances and painting artwork. There was equally as many attractions for the adults from musical performances, to artwork, acce
ssories, clothing etc... There was the freedom to roam around, interact with a variety of individuals and even the opportunity to give back to the community. Walking around and interacting with the variety of events going on around the grounds was enough to create an appetite! The food was Divine and there was a diversity of options available for everyone. I made it my mission to get some Nana's kettle corn and a beaver tail!!!! they were sooooo good.
This concludes our weekend adventures look for us at upcoming events and feel free to stop by our visitor information booth located at market square, hope to see you soon :)
